The Site is operated by Peter Guggisberg, a Financial Services Representative of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (“MassMutual”) through the Vermont Financial Group of New York. Throughout this policy, “Peter” or “the Advisor” refers to Peter Guggisberg in his capacity as a licensed financial professional. “You” refers to any person who visits the Site or submits information through it.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with how information is handled as described here, please do not use the Site.

Information collected

Information you provide directly

When you contact the Advisor through a form on the Site, schedule a consultation, or request the free guide, you may provide:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and home zip code or town.
• Family + financial context: information you choose to share about your household, income range, existing coverage, retirement accounts, or planning goals.
• Scheduling information: dates and times you select for a consultation, and your preferred meeting format (phone, video, or in person).
• Messages and questions you write into open text fields.

If a planning relationship moves forward, Peter or the carriers underwriting an insurance product may collect additional information required for underwriting, including date of birth, Social Security number, health history, and beneficiary information. That information is collected through MassMutual or the applicable carrier’s own forms and is governed by those entities’ privacy policies in addition to this one.

• MassMutual + Vermont Financial Group of NY: as a Financial Services Representative, Peter is supervised by MassMutual and the Vermont Financial Group of NY. Information related to client relationships may be reviewed by these entities as part of regulatory supervision, compliance review, and recordkeeping.
• Insurance carriers and product providers: if you pursue an insurance application or product, relevant information is shared with the carrier underwriting the product. Each carrier has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles that information.
• Service providers: the Site uses third-party tools for hosting, email delivery, calendar booking, and analytics. These providers process information only on the Advisor’s behalf and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and regulatory requirements: information may be disclosed when required by law, court order, or in response to a request from a regulatory body with jurisdiction over the Advisor or MassMutual.
